Hi,
has anybody heard something about their next releases of kits resp. modules ?
I've heard that they will introduce new things soon, but which price category ?? Like the TD3 or TD20 ??
What will change ??
Will they change also their mesh heads ???

Thx

nobody knows anything about a new module at this time. the general feeling is that they will release something to fill the gap between the td-6 and the td-20 (sort of a sequal to the td-8).

also they are doing a lot of give-aways on cy-5's and cy-8's, leading to speculation on some new v-cymbals.

and the td-20 expansion card is still an unknown. nobody has any clue what it will even do. or when we will see it.

They have the TD- 12 , so a new module i think wont be part of any new releases ( but i could be wrong lol )

thats what every one was saying for last years namm too. so who knows....

also, the reason that i mentioned a possible new module is mostly due to that oddball new td-6sx kit that roland has. you know, the one with the dual trigger mesh head toms that the td-6 cant actually use (no rim trigger support on the td-6). a td-9 (or whatever) would be perfect for that kit. if you look at rolands lineup, its a big jump to go from a td-6 kit to a td-12. the td-6sx is just bizarre.
