Wrote some stuff with a few friends having been offered some free studio time.

Only got round to mixing down this afternoon and this is what we have to show for it.

The tracks are a bit loose at the edges and need tightening up, also both songs took quite a few takes to get and everyone was loosing their groove so please excuse that.

Track one was roughly mixed and track two uses the same settings from the mix of track one so it is a bit muddy in the low end and overall not too great.
But im quite happy with the sound of track 1, considering the song was recorded on the same day it was wrote!

There is a small solo at the end of track 2 if you want to hear more drums

'Track 1' and 'Track two' are the tracks im talking about

Some criticism would be cool...

Thanks for listening,

Sounds good.. I like the 1:12 part in track two where it changes. Cool stuff.

nice man. sounds really good, your drumming is really nice. i think track one especially could do with some more lively guitar, just my opinion

Groovy, I like it a lot - exactly my type of music...bluesy rock funk...very nice! The first tune reminded me of Wide Mouth Mason...once of my favorite newer bands.

yeaaah, i love 'track two'! especially the first part of it, kinda reminds me galactic's 'church'. very groovy, subtle and smooth.

I love the sound, very cool. The bass drum sounds too loud and the snare a bit too soft (On the first track, I haven't listened to the others.)
