As for the price I traded my Paiste PST5's and some cash. Erik is very good to work with. I only wish I had a way to record these for you guys and gals. Maybe Santa will take care of that for me. They sound even better than they look, in my humble opinion.

Congrats. They look beautiful. I just picked up a Legend Series 16" crash and was very impressed. I'll bet your beauties sound just as sweet.

Thanks Harry. After the PST5's these things are heaven. The 22 inch ride haas a very distinct ping, and when played with a soft mallet doubles for a gong, lol I will be getting two splashes as soon as they are in stock.

I am just happy that yet another alternative exists to zildjian, sabian, meinl, UFIP and paiste.
I am considering giving other underdog cymbal companies like that (and Johan VDS) dedicated pages on my site.
Out of the mainstream...into the custom....

Yes..there are simply beautiful....and should sound maybe even better than they look. By the way GRUNTERDAD....you mean MasterWork Logos are on the underside of the Cymbals...and at the Top...there shows no MasterWork Logo at all?

Beautiful set of cymbals you have there. The sound files on the MasterWork web site sound great, alternatives are always good to have, enjoy and good luck with them.

Thank you kind sir...I figure I have the off brand TAYE drums, I might as well be a cymbal rebel too. I am especially pleased with the crashes. As I said elsewhere these things take little effort to play and they are very loud. The ride for being huge has a great ping with a lot of sustain. I am very pleased.
My favorite Sam Ash and Guitar Center would only give me one dollar per inch on my PST5's, new since March, and I got twice that from Cymbalfusion.sight unseen. Very pleased with the cymbals and the deal.

I was thinking that about your rig. Your equipment complements itself well.

I like the fact that you have a 16" crash coupled to a 17" crash; how different do they sound from each other? I am thinking of adding a 17" 2002 crash to go with my 16" 2002 crash but am wondering if they would sound too similar. Also,I like how you've chosen 13" hi-hats; those must be very good for jazz and funk/soul type patterns, very high pitched,I am thinking. And did I read that your ride cymbal sounded "like a gong" when hit with mallets? Holy Sound Creation,Batman, you could hang it from a gong stand and do a mean imitation of Carl Palmer playing Tank. Seriously though, congradulations on such a wise choice of cymbals. Good on ya,mate...

Thanks Ellen. The one inch difference between the two crashes doesnt seem much but their gram weight was significant enough that they arent too close. They do well where you have crashes close together in melody and dont waht to hit the same one twice. I'm also going to get a 19 when the funds are available. The ride is big, again on 2 inches from the 20 inch but a world of difference,,thanks for your comments, and play on.
