Dating my Ludwig 400

Anyone have any idea on resources with which I can date my supra 400 from its serial number? Ta.

Agreed.......go to the links and then take your serial number and insert basic time-frame.
Remember though.....take it with a grain of salt, if you're familiar with Ludwig stuff (older stuff) you'll find out that some things varied with dates and badges and stuff which is what makes it so much fun...but for the most part, ....the dating links are pretty accurate.

I could probably get some low quality ones up; its a blue and olive badge s/n 1535148. I'm thinking mid to late 70's.....

Srry, crappy I know. Not sure it tells us much more. Should I be looking for a date stamp anywhere on the drum. Annoyingly I didnt think to check when i re-skinned it....
