Join the BIG (...at the moment very small) Drumset-Picture-Gallery.
Just a little place, but probably huge very soon.
Drummerworld gives you the opportunity and place to publish your Drumset-Pictures - at Drummerworld not the Forum.
We start with the Forum-Members and open up then for the general public.
...and: from Metal Factory Percussion we received some great stuff to give away to the participants.
Please join to be one of the first to help building a great gallery.... see more information here:

But anyway, I'm a little bit dissappointed of the feedback from our forummembers....
Also some performances (I mean the descriptions and picts - not the drumming) are a little bit poor. Figure: these gallery will have a top ranking at google and everybody can see it for some years....hmmm

Well ill be sure to email you the pictures this weekend. My mom has my digital camera and my phone pictures are extremely small. They will be sent soon. Expect them atleast by sunday.

The gallery is open now for everybody and will stay permanent for a long time.
So I really don't get it, why some people are sending such bad pictures. It was never so easy to make good pictures - too easy perhaps?? I don't mean all the pics - i speak about those I had to reject...
Remember: Google Ranking will be very high, so your names stay there for many years and i don't intend to have time to change the pics all the time.....

Well, i didn't know, that there are so many obstacles....beside the page-building and resizing work....and the clear rules....
1. I have no pictures
2. I have no recent pictures
3. I don't want to be on the gallery
4. I want to put up Video (No, and again: no - holy moly....)
5. I don't have Sound files
6. I only have wedding pictures
7. I only want to be in the Give-Away but not in the gallery
8. I want to be in the Gallery, but I don't want to be in the drawing of the Give-Away
9. Could you please look for my pictures yourself, there are some on the net.
10. Can i post pictures of my mother in law or some of my dog?
11. I'm not a drummer, can you put up a picture of my guitar?
12. I want to be on the gallery - but i don't want to be published on the net.
13. Why don't you have a DW-Drums Give Away
14. I give you only one picture - no bio and no name
15. Why is Steve Gadd not in the gallery?
16. I'm from Kasachstan and I don't now what's a drummer..

Not yet, the last 2 days ive been searching everywhere for some recent photos of me, but i cant...strange. And im not putting baby photos up :-0 no no no. Although if you want to see my newly refinished kit here. Although the pictures are huge, i dont know how to resize them so if you could give me a hand there that would be great. Its a dial up killer.

I want to get another cheapy kit so i can do another one, i want it more graphic based, not a natural stain. Put a nice base coat colour like your export then get some stencils, i think Jay B was doing something like this but he hasnt updated his thread for a bit.
Thanks for the interest though, makes me feel like a good drummer...or you just wanted to see my kit...mmm

haha you said...IM CRAZZZEEEE
But i didnt think they would show up that big, (im not really a pro at these sorts of things) IWhen i first tried uploading them to photobucket they wouldnt work until i discovered that box that tells you what to upload (if u understand....great) i my resolution wasnt there so i just selected the saffest (so i thought im not sure if thats what it meant) option and went 1mb (which i thought it meant that it would only upload pics smaller that 1mb) then i well yea, so how do i resize them? I know this thing has been said lots but i still dont know, haha. ANd yes i do have a bio...luckyly so its on its way. Thanks

Wow Karl i love your playing on pesos. Youve recorded that really really well. How did u do it? Play along anong and record the drums then mix them into the drumless version? You did very well, you have very great feel. And where did u find that drum creator? I also like the other song, but i really like peso. My only comment would be to maybe, well it was probably just the mic position but the hihats were a bit faint imo. But it was probably just the mics positioning, but i cant really say more than that, see what greg has to say, i really liked it.

Well, I played drums for it and Daniel (good friend, guitarist and tone techic man) mixed it. He gave me the music on my ears and so we recorded...we had two tracks (play-along and drumming) and mixed it. The classic style of recording ;-)
I`m glad you like it, especially Pesos, there are a few timing probs though. but however, I gave all with the recordings, I lived the moment. I just sent Bernhard two more I recorded, I hope he received the mail...
About the mic position: I can actually just say that I always experiment with positioning...
...and do you mean JazzGregg with Gregg? He already told me his thoughts tips and also what he likes (which was actually hard to belive that he also likes thing on my Jazz playing :-D). But I think he hasn`t already heard the new ones...mhhh...

I missed this whole thing while I was away for my Xmas vacation (and it's taken me just a little while to catch up with y'all!) ... beautiful kits on display!!
As soon as my new drums are moved in, and I figure out what the heck I'm gonna do with them, I'll send pics of both to add to the effort. I may have a couple of extra surprises to contribute too!

I don't think it's very healthy for your bass drum to have you tom like that. You don't have to, of course, but it would be better to have your tom-arm the normal way...

I stopped using a hi-hat recently, experimenting with "filters". I began to notice that individual pices of drums had become filters, like a filter over a lens and that there was a lot of automaticity going on. By removing the hihat and using the hithat cym. as ride cymbals, eliminating the 22" rides, and getting the smallest thinnest sticks I could find, the sound had a speedier, faster, lighter quality. i could even reduce it down to a snare and one of the hihat "rides" and the whole sound created a much faster and more appealing sound to it, more Zen, more spacious. And it had the same effect on others: other musicians no longer were "forced" or assumed that they'd play in the filter of the pop on 2 & 4 as some kind of reference point. Musicians who had been struggling with their own freedom of expression suddenly found that when that old back beat reliability was gone, they could move in and out of the conversation with much more agility and psychic stability. So, anyway, here are somne pics of this development.....and a couple pics of me.
