When you post here, there is a button below the field where you type that says "Manage Attachments." Notice right above that button a note that says "Valid file extensions: avi bmp doc gif jpeg jpg mov mp3 mpeg mpg pdf png wav zip"
Attachments can be up to 10MB in size, and pictures can be up to 800 x 1000 pixels.

It's probably physically too large. Try making it smaller in photoshop... camera pictures are often more than 800X1000 pixels.

how do you get it to be able to put a 10MB file. I want to put a put a pic on and its like 600kb's and its too big!
600 kb is much too big for a jpg - that must be a bummer!!!
Hint: size 600 x 800 pixesl will be 80 kb, normal picture 400 x 400 = 30 kb
10 MB is meant for videos and MP3!!!!!!!!!!

"To put a pic on, follow my instructions" - like that
thanks guys

Every picture has a size. Digital pictures from Camera are too big to publish on a website - will not fit into the layout of the forum. So you have to resize with a picture-editing program. There are thousands.....
If you can't do that, you can send the pictures to me:
bernhard@drummerworld.com
and I will do for you.

I really like the Wuhan China, it has a very "crisp" sound wich I like a lot. When I use it with my kit I usually put it upsidedown, think it sounds better that way. You know, with the edges pointing upwards instead of down as usual. Sometimes it's hard to do that though, depending on what stands you use. What did you think about it yourself? /Svalle

And a big thanks to everybody for your compliments!
Btw - I'm thinking of getting new drumheads to my kit. Don't like the dw's, but they were original so i thought I could keep them until they got bad, and now thay are! lol
My question is - do any of you have any experience of evans drumheads. I've heard they are now better then the remo's?
Thanks a heap!

You're one lucky man! It's not every day someone gets to take home DW's. That green finish is beautiful, and i really like the HHX series from Sabian. Your kit is on the money bro.

I'm using Evans G2's and Genera Resonants on mine. Can't fault 'em!
There's not a great deal to pick between Evans and Remo. I wouldn't say Evans were better than Remo as such, I don't think that would be an accurate statement.
I would say that Evans heads are more durable IMO.
I'd certainly think about 2-ply heads on those DW's. Those drums would sing all day with single ply heads!!! Just my opinion...

wow, awesome kit. Pretty much any DW is good. nice choice on cymbals too.
The kit looks very simple and easy to use. That's what i like. I don't need an awkwardly organized 10-piece drumset with a 20 cymbals, it just makes it more difficult to play (as well as make it easier to drop your sticks by hitting stuff when you dont want to).
Oh, and one more thing, how are those drum heads treating you? i have pretty much the same heads (but i have a PDP set), and they work for me excellently. just the right amount of muffling. I also suggest switching to Evans EC2s on the toms, and Evans EQ4s on bass drum. (but that's when the current drum heads wear out of course)

Well, I like them. But I think there getting bad faster than for ex. remo's or evans. Right now, after I've tuned them they seem to get out of tune pretty fast. And I don't play very hard at all. Besides that they'ew working well for me too! But it's kind of annoying that when you tune them low the tune won't last long.. the heads are getting wrinkled after way to short time. And second of all - I really don't like how the look! haha

Try Aquarian Studio Xs, very sweet heads. They hve clear or coated, but I like the clears better.
Oh, and great set too! Very cool finish. I saw this same set at Guitar Center, but it was red and black. Still, I bet that looks awesome under some lights.

Beautiful kit....I'll give you 5 bucks for the whole thing...
but seriously though, it's hot.
Try evans EC2s on your toms and a HDDry on your snare with an evans hazy 300 on the bottom. You can thank me later, lol.....really makes the snare crack.

Yeah i do really like it, very very trashy. i think i will try turning it upside down and see what its like, ie the logo on the bottom...i ddnt quite get ur edges pointing down as usual as they face up when the right way up. i also got a10" splash which i love also. and fantastic prices!

Well.. what I ment by having the cymbal upsidedown was to see the logo from your view while playing (on the top of the cymbal)

Hello Svalle,
Hope you are still reading the thread...your's is just a Gorgeous kit!
I just ordered my Emerald Onyx DW yesterday from Guitar Center:
diam x depth
20x16 kick (virgin)
12x8 tom
16x14 tom
They gave me 3-4 months wait time. $1918 delivered. What do you think of the price? I had to put 25% down to order.
thanks

I bought my from Fork's after dealing with GC. I got 8x10, 9x12, 12x14,14x16, and 18x22 for 3150 shipped. The finish is a crimson sparkle and the shells are shell are the standard maple with vlt on the floors and kit, which I think is standard.
I would shop around. GC couldnt, or wouldn't touch the price, and I saved the sales tax.

Find out what list is, take 40% off, that is as low as DW will allow their vendors to go.
And they are great kits!
