This is the second time Alaquam and the AquaLlamas have played here. We absolutly love this place. Its sooooo chill and the people enjoy our jam style. Short 4 min excerpt of our opening improv jam, you know, just to loosen up. We hadnt even played together for over a Month!!! Oh well we had a blast, thats all that matters right ?!?!?!!

Looks like everyone had a good time! A hookha bar opened up here in Boise but it's too small for music.

Ha, I dig the title. But your music, it's very awesome, you don't get many bands with that type of sound like that nowadays. I enjoyed it. I liked the keyboardist also.

Sounded cool, but I kept expecting to see a sex scene, what the heck were those people smoking? Wasn't illegal I hope.

No no it was indeed shisha. This is a place of business guys hahahaha. Man i really didnt know we would get such a response ........ i wish the camera man/ editor would have filmed more. That was the worst song of the night in my opinion. Our Primus "puppies" into Talkin heads "burnin down the house" covers brought the house down, as well as our originals "llama stroke" and "Hodgepodge" hahahaha. The Juggling Gypsy actually received a sound ordenance (sp?) ticket that night because of us. The Cop just stood there while we finished our second set. Well..... we actually just cut it short :-[ but it was fun!!
Thanks for all your kind words guys !!!!!!!!

Thanks man, The keyboardist is my lil brother, hes only been playing for 2-3 years, guitar player is our life long buddy and i wish you could have heard his solo in that song. We kinda just picked up the bassist but hes cool. They needed a drummer (and a bassist) so my brother and i split the cost of a used set. Then we were like whos gonna play these things ........ the rest is history been on them for a year now. I dont get to practice because i live in an apartment so ive played them MAYBE 40 times. I need an instructor BAD !!!!!! All in good time i guess. Im happy with what i can do for the time i have been playing. Everytime i sit behind those things i learn something new!!!!! OK i lied, im in a rut, but i expect that.Thats one thing i have learned from music(i also play guitar and violin) you will always hit a creative wall. When you overcome that, thats when the good stuff comes out!!!!!!!!

Having some 100 or so Grateful Dead shows on cd and about 20 Phish shows (along with , of course many Zappa shows ;) , I can appreciate your tunes. I love that style of music. Groovin' , chillin (all the "ins)
Reminds me of Ekoostik Hookah , Garcia etc. Keep up the truly awesome work. Excellent playing by everyone.
