Product Spotlight: 14" New Signature Light Dark Hats Mark I
Once again, Paiste's knowledge in making cymbals through the work of our drummer service staff in addition to the precious feedback from our artists have summed up a vast array of inputs for a certain sound. The idea in creating the 14" New Signature Light Dark Hats Mark I was derived from the necessity to combine purity and dynamics in a Hi-Hat cymbal.
Many of us have experienced the harsh hi-hat sounds at a gig, sounds that overpower the entire band which prevent the drummer from driving the band to a comfortable level. Further, we know a hi-hat sound can easily bleed into the tom or overhead mics creating an imbalance to the mix of the music being heard from the audience.
One hi-hat that flawlessly resolves these particular issues are the 14" New Signature Light Dark Hats Mark I. A very sensitive hi-hat with a dark edge and a light touch, they contain a foamy crispness and a mighty chick. These hats are very appealing to play. With a soft and buttery feel upon the touch of a drumstick, the Light Dark Hats are not too loud and are gentle.
They are perfectly suited for Jazz, Blues, Swing, Country, acoustic, Soul, Funk, Latin or Big band applications. And they're so inviting to the ear which will please you, your band mates and the audience you're performing in front of. Did we mention that that they record just magnificently? That's whole other topic we will need to discuss at another time. Give them a listen. Give them a listen
