Audun_D: I always liked your kit.. Same cymbals and a great kit, the lx series is one of my favourite drums from pasfic.. And they sound good too! I tried them last week at a musicshop and wow.. Love it.

Thanx Wegadrummer, it means a lot coming from a fellow norwegian drummer! :-) I try to keep my kit simple you know, with not too many toms, but I'm getting a 16" floor tom soon som I'm really happy right now :-)

dude, how's the jimmy chamberlin snare?!?!
i've been dying to know. i wonder if it's kept up to his yamaha snares before.
also the fade on the kit is really nice. but can i ask why you have a pillow/blanket in your BD when you already have an emad on it? unless you like it extremely muffled and dead, i'd let that raw bass drum power come thru.
cool kit bro.

Thanx for comment mate! I'll try to toss the pillows :-) The Jimmy snare sounds amazing with a Genera Dry!!! So amazing when tuned high! I've had 2 yamaha steel snares in the past, but this one is so more nicer. Aluminium is the way to go! :-D

Nice gear. Do you still use the HHX ride? Also, what's the Gibraltar pedal down to the left of the hi hat? I love the AA fast china I used to have one but it got a crack on one of the lathe lines : (

The pedal is a pacific pedal that used to be attatched to a cowbell. I still use my HHX ride. It totally depends on my mood. The fast china is the best one I've tried yet, knock on wood. I'll get the 20" AAX china soon.

Very classy kit! I like those cymbals, they must give your set a big vocabulary.
I also like the suspension mounting on the toms.

Very nice looking kit. I'm sure it sounds killer. I really like your al snare. How does it sound? Is it versatile?

I've got 2 alu snares, a JC. sig and a Tama 4x14. They are both very versatile. I would recomend them to anyone. The tama is less expensive and provides a good crack with plenty of sensitivity. The JC. snare is just friggin awsome! =D I has a real dry crack, I've got a Genera Dry sitting on it so its so supersensitive + I've cranked it so high that there is no ring what so ever, just a funky loud crack
EDIT : It was the Die Cast hoops on the JC. snare that was alu =P not the actual shell. It is steel =P

but ofc, he went on vacation, didnt get back to me, and then sold it.
well nice kit, relaly diggin the finish. isnt your hi-hat a little too high and far away and your snare too low?
