Would a Genera G1 Coated (reso) eq3 clear (batter) sound good on a kick drum?

i like a clicky punk rock sound

it would probably give the drum a much brighter attack, and a lot of sustain. I dont know if i think it would sound that good, but thats just me

The EQ3 would be good, but I wouldn't put a G2 on there (I don't know if they even make G2's in bass drum sizes). I would go for the EQ3 White Coated Resonant head with a five-inch hole.

Emad 2 clear or coated ... (i'll go with the coated) and for the resonant use the EQ3 ( agian - for the reso EQ3 i use coated ) ...that will make you bass drum sound like a monster.

Pillows stop the real tone of your drum from fully showing.
I use an Emad2 and an emad resonant.
I love these heads and I highly recomend them.

EQ3 clear batter with EQ3 reso, works beautifully with a nice light feather pillow and an Evans AF patch or Remo Falam-slam and either a nice hard felt beater or a wood beater.

For a click go with an EQ3 for the batter head with a Retro Screen as a reso for almost no resonance and if you want a deader sound put in a pillow or an EQ Pad.
