I'm 43 and stopped playing when I was 25 and only started again 3 years ago at the age of 40!! Got arthiritis in my right hand cos of breaking nearly every bone in a dumb fistfight!! Just loving playing again, I KNOW I ain't Buddy, grateful for my wifes support and the fact I can still hold a pair of stix!!

time slips in the first break, I can blame the bass player but Id be lying!! Played along to the original thru headphones and its not the same a playing to a click. Lesson learned; Be better prepared!!!

Jon, I'm 53 years old. I have intermittent bursitis on my left side and a horse recently kicked me on my right elbow. Healing seems to take years, now. Like with you, the pain goes away when I play.

Years ago, throughout my entire 30s, I quit the band gig and went to school for the almighty degree. It took me 8 years to get my 4 year degree. My Ludwigs kept me sane (sanity is relative). I did play in a Blues/Rock bar band from '95 through '99. Great fun!

Now, I work 40-50 hours a week to keep the farm. That leaves little time for the band gig. However, the Ludwigs are set up and are still keeping me sane.

You're going through something similar to what I went through. I really appreciate your humour and your drive. Besides, you can Rock! lol Your recordings and videos always make me smile. Keep it up, Bro....
