Oh man you GOTTA use that cymbal as a stack! I say throw a crash on top of it and clamp it down for a nice "TCHA!" sounding stack. At least, that's what I would do...

I wouldnt be surprised if it was from a church......if it was like an apostolistic church those drummers just keep beating them cymbals just as long they have a sound. Lol same with me. What led you to a church in the US?

Here at zildjian, we value our customers and understand that as a dummer y,our income isn't fantastic. So we've created this new line of edible cymbals. Coming in:, pork, chicken, and beef. And just for the vegeterians drummers, guacamole.
Coming soon, a new ride that acts as a roof.

hey :) we were doing a tour - our trumpet player is an american who is living in our country for more than 5 years...He invited us to go play to churches in the US, and try to gain prayer support from them for the TV program (christian tv for non believers) he runs in slovakia in some cities. So we visited some about 15 churches almost in the whole US ( few churches in chicago illinois; marshfield wisconsin /we recorded there in studio; siloam springs arkansas; tulsa oklahoma;lubbock and forthworth texas; carlsbad new mexico ; north stafford and massaponax virgina; and than we flew back home from chicago :) yeah and that's it :)

After nearly 100 years, we now see a photo of the super secret process Zildjian uses to create cymbals. Shown here is the input phase of the process. The output (new cymbal) is produced using a naturally occuring process and connot be shown here for obvious reasons....
And you guys thought Keebler was the only company using elves to produce a product.

Proof positive that one man's junk is another man's treasure. And also proof that you should never throw a cymbal out. Someone out there will actually shell out cash for it!

I used to be a really heavy player. I went through cymbals like crazy. Man, what a waste!
Anyway, I packed up about 30 of them and shipped 'em to Zildjian in the hope of maybe getting 1 or 2 'complete' cymbals. Heck, the metal alone must be worth something to them. I can't remember what it cost to ship, but I do remember their reply. [soup nazi]No new cymbals for you![soup nazi/]
Ha! I really did have a lot of busted and cracked cymbals though. Wish i had a pic. Maybe i do. I'll have to look. Thanks for posting this. It brought back memories.
Arty Z out.
