sorry, its been a long time since i checked this thread,

we are 4

well this song (if you can call it a song) start with me sleeping on a bench, and an other guy under garbage, than an other guy comes in with his pans and cough, wich wakes me up , and i fall on the floor and i begin messing with bottles ( wasting time until the girl comes out af a big blue plastic garbage can) when she comes out i finally start the main rhythm(sp?) and then she adds the bass, than the guy that was under garbage bags comes out and adds something with small cans, than the guy on pans fills in the rest of the holes.. that lasts until theres the wistles (party things) and i start a patern (wich i took from stanton moore, RRLRRLRL) than that turn into a kind of samba feel than they get up and go get brooms and push all our stuff away to the side of the stage while i fill with bottles again than i stop and get my broom, and we start sweeping randomly at the stage, than we all start to sweep at the same place and a guy counts "1-2-3-4" by taping the broom and we start taping and sweeping them (creating a visuall effect with twirling and stuff) of and the drag kind of thing with the brroms are made with our feet. than we stop that and make a square formation (with an other viual effect) and start an other beat by hitting our brooms togheter and than we start switching places (as you can our feet doing 1-2-3-4-1-2-3-4) and finally end by trowing our brooms on the floor.

i think thats sums it, its kinda hard to explain, i have a video but its on a mini DV casette.

we also did an other "song" using school desks and stick and glasses and won local and regional contest with it, the prize was participating to a big show , and we got a standing ovation : )

we wrote it, in about 3 months of a practise a week. (for the bottles and cans song)
and about 4 months

but we usually talk and mess around when pratice, than some1 comes up with something and we keep on evolving that idea and it turn into something nice :)

too bad were loosing the girl and the guy with the beard next year... they going to college, so i guess well have to recruit other ppl.

Wow! I didn't expect the sleeping on the bench and guy under the garbage stuff. That is great! I'm all for the dramatics and yeah, bout time you checked the thread. I'm thinking you are the Zep T-shirt guy. Honestly, I really enjoy hearing that kind of percussion. Thanks for posting it.

That was great! It reminded me a lot of the Broadway group called STOMP. You guys should try out for it if they're auditioning right now.
