Hello everyone. I've been maning to get your outlook on my kit for a long time now. It's just that I was missing two stands, so I didn't wanna post an incomplete kit. Well here's my Ludwig Accent CS Combo. (cheap kit, i know.. but I have some neat cymbals and a killer snare!)
Here are the specs:

Ludwig Accent CS Combo

10x12" Tom
16x16" Floor Tom
16x22" Bass Drum
Pearl Chad Smith Signature Snare Drum

10" Istanbul Traditional Heavy Splash
16" Istanbul Traditional Thin Crash
20" Istanbul Sultan Ride
14" Sabian B8 Hi-Hats (I'm buying new ones this summer, as well as a second crash)

Yamaha Flying Dragon Direct Drive Single Pedal (amazing pedal!)
2 Yamaha Heavy Duty Boom Stands
1 Ludwig Straight Stand

Remo Clear Pinstripes on batter and Clear Controlled Sound w/ Black Dot on reso of both toms. (yeah it sounds like they sound dead, but trust me, they don't)
Remo Coated Controlled Sound on batter and Remo Clear Ambassadors on reso of Snare.

Sorry but some of th pictures might be a little blurry...

Looks pretty nice! Especially love your Istanbuls, they really look vintage and I love your bass drum machine! Tested it and I`m impressed about it! Good luck with it!

Nice turkish cymbals - lovely choice, I dig the sultan ride very much and the FD yammy pedal (will probably be my pedal of choice when I'll shop for my double).

Beautiful poster too, I like the one at your right near the floor tom !!! Ah ! Ah ! Ah !

Yeah the pedal and the Ride rock... I imagine that the Flying Dragon DOUBLE would be pretty sweet... I got all my cymbals from istanbul so I got them for super cheap... the pedal i got it for cheap simply cuz the owner of the shop is my friend.. lol

Yeah. That boom stand holding the ride is a killer. I can stretch it out all the way at 90 degress and put my ride on it, and it won't tip... Yeah the cymbal placement is pretty sweet, but the ride sometimes gets in my way when i wanna go from the small tom to the floor tome with the left hand... I think it's my hand thats the problem though... lol... I'm planning on buying another crash soon and maybe some hats... then my dream kit will be complete.. i like them simple...

By the way, I now have a Tama stool (tractor seat style), new hi-hats, and a nother crash as well as a boom arm coming out of the kick to support the splash.. but i will not post pics now, because if u follow up in the general discussion, i am in the process of changing the finish, and i will probably add another floor tom when the whole thing is done, and the piocs will be up by then....

I'd hold on to those B8 hats once you upgrade, you can set up closed auxilliary hats on the right side of the kit just using a regular cymbal stand. I've wanted to do that for a while, but don't have the money for a second pair. I definitely like your simple setup. I've been meaning to take down my 2 middle toms and a few cymbals. I need to focus on technique, without too much stuff set up.

I use to play on a Ludwig Accent kit. With the right heads and proper tuning they can sound great. Very nice cymbals.

yeah. its amazing how cheap that snare is.. its ounds AMAZING!! and yes, i still have my B8 hats. and i probably will add them to the kit, once i get a stand.. truly, these drums can sound great with the right heads.. i'm planning on buying coated ambassadors to open up the sound a bit. had enough of the pinstripes... whatcha guys think? are evan's better? or maybe aquarian?? or should I stick to remo..
