Hey everyone,
I'm so excited, as of about 6 hours ago I bought myself a used DW kit on Ebay! And I only spent 1700 bucks!! 5 piece in deep blue oyster finishply, just what I've been dreaming about. Can't wait for them to come in, I'll post some pics of them as soon as they do. I'm shure I'll be like one of those picture happy new parents.

I thought that other guy bidding on the pink one was paying too much for a three piece. He wsa at 1100 or something. I wanted to tell him that it wasn't that great of an idea, but wasn't sure.

Now I'm sure. You got a great deal. Are those your cases or did you win them in the auction.

Seems like I've seen "Silverchair" before. Are they out of Austin or Dallas, perhaps?

Stu, Silverchair are quite a famous band, that's Silvertide. Can't say I've ever heard of them but they could be famous I suppose.

Looks like you got yourself a really great deal there, us British folk would kill to get a DW for that price, it works out at something like £900. A stunningly good deal.

Oops, I meant to say Silvertide, not Silverchair (obviously). Thinking out loud is dumb!

I've either seen silver TIDE here on DW or live in Austin...can't...remember...where.....

Specs are 22"x18 Kick Drum, 14"x11" Floor Tom, 12"x9" Rack Tom, 10"x8" Rack Tom, 8"x7" Rack Tom. The cases come with the buy. That picture is actually the one on ebay but when i get them in and set up you can expect a plenty of pics. I also bought a DW snare last week to complete the kit, it cost me $281.
Altogether new, kitbuilder on dw's site tells me it would cost $3434 and thats not including the cases. I'm so damn lucky.

They look great. Blue DW's look really good with cymbals around them. The colors match well. Congratulations.

That is awesome!! Great buy. I was deciding on pork pie or DW and that was the exact finish I would have chosen if I went with DW. Simply beautiful. Great sizes to. Enjoy!

Nothing quite like a new, nice kit.

After purchasing my starclassics, I often walk into my drum room before bed just to look at them.

I walk away still blown away!
