Peace is slowly gaining momentum. Their wood finishes are awesome. Every year at the NAMM show, I'm just blown away with how good their kits look. And honestly, all maple shells, can't go wrong there. I think they have a huge obstacle in the U.S. to overcome being a Chinese company. It's wierd. We'll by Ludwig, Tama, Yamaha, etc. drums and hardware made in china, but we won't buy "Chinese" drums. I think KIMA ran into the same problem 10 years ago.

You even look a little bit like Tommy! What are the Cross things? I imagine they are cymbals of some sort, but what do they sound like? They look cool though. By the way: how do Peace kits sound?

Yeah the "cross things" are Celtic Bells from Factory Metal Percussion. Wonderfull "metallic" bell sounds. Much like wind chimes. I use the for the most part in studio. They need a nice mic on the to be heard.
But I always have one of the HiHat jinglers they make on my hats. Those rock!

As far as Peace goes.... They are a stand up company! The Hardwear is extreamly durable, and easy to move around. And the drum have sweet tone, and are LOUD as hell!

Do any of your celtic bells have those tamborine things attached to them. I really like their sound. Which sticks are you using in that picture?

I`ve heard of factory metal...and I`ve heard it in a Jojo Mayer video, they sound PRETTY! I`m thinking of buying one...but this is just a dream, no money. Is this factory metal expencive?

The only celtic bell with Tamborine jingels is the one on my Hi Hat clutch. The sticks in that pic are Regal Tip 5BX Nylons. I just started playing with the 2BX wood tips a few weeks ago. I needed something with a bit thicker grip. Only problem is I LOVE nylon tips and the 2BX doesn't have them... :(

You sure know your stuff on celtic bells.... i don't really like nylon tipped sticks unless they are 5A/7As I dont know why... i must have just have a phobia.

I endorse Peace, Istanbul Agop, Factory Metal, Regal Tip, Coffin Case and Eliptical FX. Currently I play with the Voodoo Dollies (http://www.myspace.com/thevoodoodollies) And sometimes Mad Yellow Sun (http://www.madyellowsun.com). I also do a lot of session work, clinics & teach.

Very Nice kit !

I don't use the 10" anymore. I just stuck it in these photos to kind of ballance the kit out. During the photo shoot I'm not even sure if I ever hit it. The kit also has a 2nd bass drum that I used maybe 3 or 4 times....

New pic!!!

This is from a move premier last weekend in the Buffalo Central Terminal. The terminal is a huge NY Central train station abandon in the 1970's... They filmed a Horror movie inside and my band is on the soundtrack.

Nice kit man. I also own a Peace kit which is set up on a DR-503 Pearl ICON rack system. Zildjian "A Custom" hats, crash, fast crash and ride. Iron Cobra Hat and Double Bass. I plan on getting some pics of it and posting them once I get everything placed on the rack system where I want them. I just got the ICON a couple weeks ago and have been experiementing with placement so far.

I wanted to say you have a sweet ass kit and I agree with the sound of the Peace drums, they are loud as hell. What all different heads have you tried for them and what have you found sound the best in your opinion?

Well I still have the other kit, so I didn't get rid of it.

I don't have any good pics of the new kit yet, just what's posted on my website from New Years Eve, but I'll get some 2007 promos done after NAMM.

And the program I used to create that kit was PhotoShop. And the images were from Kit Constructor. I found a link on here someplace. I had to modify a lot of the images though to create my personal setup.
